XMPP (eXtensible Messaging and Presence Protocol) is a protocol for sending realtime XML data over the Internet. One of the things that makes it so versatile is that anyone can extend it with a new XML namespace to use it in ways the original authors never imagined. For example, we use it for game discovery and inter-player chat.
To help promote compatibility, the XMPP Standards Foundation maintains a central list of official (and unofficial) XMPP Extension Proposals (XEPs). Anyone can propose a new XEP which gets published, discussed, and evaluated by volunteers.
For this task proofread XEP 0108 (User Activity) and take notes.
Your notes should include anything from bad grammar, unclear terminology, missing references, missing or bad examples, or really anything that you think could be improved on. You may also include positive feedback such as an example or explaination which made it easier to understand.
While working on this task you should join and remain in #CopyleftGames on Freenode to get help, feedback, and guidance from mentors and other developers.
When you've done, upload your notes to this task. Mentors may follow up with questions about the document to check for understanding, so be sure to be on IRC especially during task review.
