Write a contrastive grammar
completed by: Yizhuo

Use a grammar book or other resource to document a number of ways in which the grammar of two languages differ.
We are not interested in morphological difference (e.g., how the two languages form plural nouns), but rather in syntactic differences (e.g., maybe the nouns in one language agree in number with their determiner or adjective, but only agree with numbers in the other language).
If the languages are closely related (i.e., speakers of the two can usually understand each other), then you only need to document 15 ways in which they are different. If they are unrelated or only distantly related, then you should document 30 ways they differ. If you can explain half of the points in general terms, then you may do 5 fewer points (i.e., 10 or 25). You should have no fewer than 3 examples of each difference.
Put your documentation on the apertium wiki under Language1_and_Language2/Contrastive_grammar. See Farsi and English/Pending tests for an example of a contrastive grammar that a previous GCI student made. Contact your mentor(s) (preferably on IRC) to set up an account on the wiki.
