• Edit Tomboy so that when multiple notes that match a search are wanted, the user can select them, and open all of them rather than one at a time. A clear time saver.
• An initial sentence or two that describes what the task entails and why a student would want to spend their time on it (emphasize importance to project, transferable skills...).
• There are already incomplete patches for this. The student would evaluate those patches, apply, and elaborate on them to deliver a finished solution.
• When completed, a patch should be delivered to bug report #587499 in GNOME Bugzilla.

Benefits: A small usability issue. Would make Tomboy more useful for users with many notes, and many inter-related notes.
